This award celebrates the professional partner that most epitomizes and supports The David Project's methodology of Relational Advocacy on their campus. This includes successfully ensuring the implementation of every component of The David Project’s on-campus program, incorporating Israel Uncovered into on-campus outreach, and in general helping to support and lead students conducting outreach on campus.

Jason Steckler is an exemplary person to have on the ground. He started the year with 7 interns and ended the year with 4. Despite this, Jason managed to push his team to reach 84 outreach interactions last year. This accomplishment was not an easy task for him. Jason works on a campus that isn’t conducive to relationship building. Every day they work to overcome extreme anti-normalization coming from students, faculty, and school administration. Despite this, students can always count on Jason to provide mentorship and guidance. He faces adversity every day not faced by many other partners in the country, and just the fact that Jason is able to successfully manage a team to do outreach on his campus proves that he should be given this award. Carlos Martinez, the Northern California & Texas Campus Coordinator wants everyone to know he considers it a privilege to work with them.
