Core Values: Save a Child's Heart

The David Project has a set of core values that continue to enhance the organization. By working at The David Project, I believe I am part of a larger community and I feel like even during my off hours I want to continue to help those who are in need, both locally and internationally. As a result, I recently accepted the position of New England Area Co-Chair for Save a Child's Heart (SACH). Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease, and to create centers of competence in these countries. The SACH New England Committee held a fundraiser at Harpoon Brewery on September 24, 2013 to raise money as well as spread awareness about the organization. Over 50 young professionals attended the event and over $500 was raised from donations. My ability to take on this chairmanship and still serve as the Development Assistant at The David Project is only possible because of the truly amazing values and encouragement of the staff at The David Project.
